This charming lakefront has its own private dock and a rowboat for navigating the lake. Fishing is great in the well stocked Roamingwood Lake, the community's largest lake. The vast grounds leading from the home to the lakefront are quite level, providing a perfect spot for a volleyball or badminton net to be set up. Some days you may want to walk down to the marina to chat with other guests in the Hideout and enjoy the park.

This secluded lakefront has a cozy kitchen with everything you'll need for eating in. The kitchen and dining area open up to the living room. There are three bedrooms in the home and a futon in the lower level easily accommodating a group of 8. On the main floor, there's one bedroom with a queen sized bed and the second bedroom with two twin beds. On the lower level, there's a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a recreation area and a porch with a ping pong table. There's a full bathroom on the first level and a full bathroom with 2-person sauna on the lower level.

The guests in the Hideout rave about the outstanding community amenities. In warm weather, you'll enjoy the six lakes, two sandy beaches, two pools (plus a kiddie pool), outdoor tennis, basketball and handball courts. Golfers will relish the community's private 9-hole golf course. The Hideout clubhouse and pub are known for their gourmet food. The recreation center which recently opened features a well equipped game/arcade room, indoor tennis and basketball, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Winter sports in the Hideout can't be beat. There's a three slope novice ski hill with skiing, snowboarding and tubing, and there's cross-country skiing and sledding on the golf course.

There's no room for boredom because the area amenities are also exceptional. About 10 minutes away is the Lake Wallenpaupack, a gorgeous lake that is 13 miles long and 52 miles of shoreline. Just five minutes away is horseback riding, and not much farther are a zoo, paintball, a driving range, water and amusement parks, a day spa, antique and outlet shopping. Winter sports excel in the Poconos with the largest ski resort only 30 minutes away, Sno Mountain. Other resorts in the area are Tanglwood and Elk mountain.
