From the living room you can head out to a large deck that overlooks the beautiful mountain foliage. After a full day of enjoying all the Poconos have to offer, grill up a barbecue dinner on the screened porch from one of the many local farm merchants, enjoy a romantic meal in front of the large fireplace, or eat out at one of the many local gourmet restaurants. Day and evening activities in the Hideout may include but are not limited to pool and ping-pong tournaments, Night at the Races, movies, cards, bingo, art classes, social groups, and dances, and many other adult and childrens' activities.

We're ten minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack, where you can get jet-ski rentals, powerboats, and other types of watercraft, five minutes from a zoo, driving range, paintball, horseback riding, antique shops, and nature areas the Poconos are known for, including state game lands. We're only one-half hour from several major ski areas, including Montage Mountain, Elk Mountain, Shawnee, Big Bear, and Tanglewood, where you can go skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, museums, cultural centers, theaters, cinemas, a spa, several Poconos golf courses, water parks, malls, white-water rafting, and historic sight-seeing tours.
